We are happy to announce that Central Europe Energy Partners has been granted the status of an observer organization to the UNFCCC process. This means we have been selected among many other non-governmental organizations (NGOs) as an observer at sessions of the Conference of the Parties (COP).
As of 2018, over 2,200 NGOs and 130 IGOs are admitted as observers. The NGOs represent a broad spectrum of interests, and include representatives from business and industry, environmental groups, farming and agriculture, indigenous populations, local governments and municipal authorities, research and academic institutes, labor unions, women and gender and youth groups.
We are looking forward to participate in the next COP in Glasgow and contribute to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change process.
